Here's what we have been up to....

It was reeeealy cold last night, but the kids wanted a snowmobile ride, so they went for a short ride before supper and were freezing when they got home.

Bretta has been using a nebulizer for her bronchitis and hates it, but it really works well.

Here she is in her Cancun shirt from Grandpa Gary and Grandma Patty. I will post a picture of her and Caden both in their shirts as soon as they both have them clean at the same time:)

Bretta lost her first tooth.

I told my mom on the phone that Bretta lost her tooth and she interrupted to tell me that she did not lose her tooth. Jody pulled it out and put it in an envelope, then the tooth fairy took it. She never lost it. Guess she doesn't get some of our expressions.

Caden doesn't either. I stepped on his foot and he cried and carried on because I hurt him. I said, "I didn't mean to do it." He responds, "I know you are MEAN." I had to tell him that I didn't mean to means that it was an accident.

We are of to Bemidji tonight. Aaron has a workshop there tonight and tomorrow. The kids and I are going along, as the motel has a really nice little kiddy pool with slide and stuff. Rich and Caleb have gospel meeting in Bemidji tonight and the kids and I will go to gospel meeting while Aaron is at his meetings. When we come home tomorrow the workers are coming home with us to spend the rest of the weekend.

My kids were beat after the weekend and are now sick. I stayed home with them today and then Aaron took them to Urgent Care while I was teaching my night class tonight. Bretta has and ear infection and bronchitis and Caden a cold.

Some of us ladies went to Grandforks shopping on Friday and Saturday. We had a blast and found lots of great deals. The funny thing is on Sunday morning Wyatt and Caden had the same pants and at gospel meeting Aaron and Eric had the same pants. Guess we all found the same deals:) We shopped, then the kids swam, and we shopped more and ate Mexican before coming home. I have some pictures of the kids, but will have to get some from someone of the ladies.

I get tomorrow off, yipee. I should be entering grades right now, as it is midterm and our grades are due in by 2:00 this afternoon, but our electronic gradebook is down. Very convienient. I found a really neat site and doctored some pictures. Here is the link.

Not much exciting going on with our family. We are working and doing homework this week. Aaron and I did take the kids and go to the gym to play basketball last night. Caden, Bretta, and Aaron shoot hoops and I go to the gym upstairs and workout and run. I am feeling a little sore today, as I worked out after school and then went to the gym later too. Aaron is going on a snowmobile trip with the guys this weekend and the kids and I are taking a shopping trip with some of the wives and kids. I don't suppose we will get to speed shop or anything. I will have my two kids and Carla will have four, Bonnie and Jackie have only older girls along, lucky them.

Spread the word, our house is clean so anyone can feel free to come see us. Aaron got me the best Valentine's Day gift. I came home from work on Friday and the dishes were done, the beds washed and made, laundry done, floors and bathrooms cleaned, and everything dusted. He hired a cleaning lady!!! I was a little embarrassed that someone saw my house like it was, but I got over it when I got up on Saturday and had nothing to do except homework, which I didn't do anyway:) I am also a little embarrassed that I didn't really get him anything:( We were going to Fargo last Tuesday for Bretta's dental appointment and I was going to buy him some triathlon stuff, but we had to cancel, because of the bad weather and ice. I will have to get him something when I go next weekend. Hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day.

Bretta had her party at pre-school yesterday (I didn't get any pictures of our cute cupcakes). I got home from bible study Wednesday night and Aaron had baked the cupcakes while I was teaching class, so all I had to do was frost and decorate. Really nice of him to help out like that, only problem... Bretta needed 16 cupcakes and Aaron made two boxes, that is 48 cupcakes. We solved the problem. I made them really big and then Caden took 12 cupcakes to daycare too and I gave some to my students, cupcakes are all gone and I didn't get to eat any, thank goodness. Aaron and I had our first wiegh in for the "Biggest Loser" today and we lost 9 lbs. Aaron lost more than me of course. I think another team beat us for this month though. I am going to put a picture of Bretta with her Valentine's Box, she took it and all of the candy in it to her room, so I checked on her at like 9:00 PM and she was in her bed eating candy. She was on a real sugar high last night. The good news is her candy is almost gone, the bad news is she has another party at daycare today=more sugar.

Very short post today. I'm having a busy day at school, then teach night class, next we have bible study tonight, and last of all I get to go home at 8:30 and make cupcakes for Bretta's preschool classes Valentine's Party.

I spent my weekend getting the rest of my IKEA bookshelves assembled and filled with books. I didn't get a whole lot of housework done, so I was a little bummed to have to go back to work for the week and not have all my laundry and cleaning done....THEN we had an ice storm. Yippeeeee! School was canceled for Monday and two hours late on Tuesday, so I spent the day cleaning. I feel much better now:) Bretta and Caden played all day and only had two or three fights, which is a really good day. I am going to show you pictures of my bookshleves, I am so happy to have them finally and my new living room furniture too. Of course, I now have a couch and loveseat in the garage too. I need to sell my other furniture soon, as Aaron doesn't like my stuff in his garage. Have a great day.

New Blogger

I read blogs all the time and love to see what everyone is doing, but always say that I don't have time to blog. Well, today I decided to try it. I will see if I can keep up with homework, teaching, housework, kids, and blogging. If I can't then you won't hear from me much till summer:) I am going to post a few of my favorite pictures from lately just to get started and see if I can figure all of this out.
